CREATIVE DRAMATICS CLASS (CD) Ages 3.5-7
In-Person Classes.
Pretend, Create & Explore. Designed for the actor who loves the continual process of imagination and invention. Young performers will experience acting, singing, dancing, theater games, and costumes. (Virtual classes include costume and prop treasure hunts). Each class culminates in a collaborative “Play of the Day,” which is based on a fairytale, popular musical, or story. Instructors provide an inclusive and inspiring environment for each actor to find their unique voice. No final show. Open class presentation to be determined by the instructor. Offered year-round.
ROCKSTAR DRAMATICS CLASS (RD) Ages 3.5-7
In-Person Classes.
Act, Sing & Create. Students experience singing, theater games, acting, and movement. The class is typically based on a chosen theme using songs from popular musicals or classic rock. An age-appropriate curriculum is designed for each group. All classes tap into each student’s natural storytelling ability while fostering teamwork, self-expression, and confidence-building. For all levels, in a non-competitive and joyful environment. Offered year-round.
It’s been taking my daughter some time to adjust to larger group zoom meetings, but she honestly had a BLAST at Monday’s rehearsal. She came out smiling, singing and with a little extra bounce in her step. Thank you!!!!

IMAGINATION THEATER CLASS (IT) Ages 5-7

Act Out, Sing & Create. Designed for the actor who loves to sing, dance and act out! Classes meet weekly to rehearse an adapted musical, classic theater play, or an original play. Actors work with a theater professional, learning to hit their mark and find their voice in a non-competitive, age-appropriate, and inclusive environment. Novice to advanced actors – everyone welcome! Offered in Winter-Spring, Summer & Fall Sessions.
I am always impressed with how well the teachers know how to work with and honor each child individually. I also appreciate the way the productions (and scripts) are thoughtfully customized to what is appropriate for each age group.
MUSICAL DRAMATICS CLASS (MD) Ages 6-7

Act, Sing & Dance. Musical Theater provides the performer with the skills to find their voice. In this class, actors work with a theater professional in a safe, non-competitive environment – appropriate for all levels. The curriculum may include acting, singing, movement, choreography, theater games, improvisation, character exploration & development, scene study, speech & diction, collaboration, stage presence, stage direction, and performance techniques. Offered year-round.

Act, Sing & Dance. Designed for the actor with a desire to become a triple threat! Classes meet weekly to rehearse an adapted musical or classic theater play. This class culminates in a final production at the end of the session. Actors work with a theater professional, learning to hit their mark and find their voice in a non-competitive, age-appropriate, and inclusive environment. Virtual classes decide together a fun and creative way to finalize their weekly rehearsals. In-person classes culminate in a final production at the end of the session. Novice to advanced. Offered in Winter-Spring & Fall Sessions.

Private Coaching is beneficial for diving deeper into your passion and honing in on your skills. Vocal development, acting skills, audition preparation for film/TV/theater, college auditions, speech & debate, interview skills, self-confidence building and more. KOS provides customized, professional instruction for students at every level. Includes tailored feedback to student and parent. Available year-round.
My son has been with KOS for two years, but only recently have we decided to begin private instruction. Let me just say…wow! In the first lesson I saw his nerves melt away, but by the third he had no problem belting out that solo. I’m so excited for his class production in June.

We’ve seen our daughter gain a sense of confidence in herself on stage that she carries with her beyond her KOS classes and performances. KOS makes everything fun and an adventure, so much so that our daughter informed us she wants to continue to participate in KOS ‘until I’m 20!’ so we’ll be back next session…and the session after that…and after that…

Act, Costumes & Story Exploration. Young actors will experience acting, singing, dancing, theater games, along with costumes and creative expression. Each class includes a collaborative “Play of the Day” based on a fairytale or musical. Experience an inspiring environment which helps foster self-expression, body awareness, social skills and joy!

WINTER/SPRING & SPECIAL DAY CAMPS Ages 5-12
In-Person Classes.
Spend your Holiday Breaks with Kids On Stage! Campers enjoy theater games, songs, choreography, and arts & crafts. Each camp day ends with an improvised, collaborative Play-of-the-Day where campers have a chance to play characters and scenes inspired by the week’s theme, or create their own. Campers are encouraged to share ideas and shine in a non-competitive, inclusive environment that develops self-expression, confidence, and joy! Open house on the last day of camp.
