See below for a few samples of our current offerings. Your school can choose a program and KOS will supply the necessary curriculum, costumes, set pieces and/or props. Looking for something different? KOS would love the opportunity to design a program that fits your unique needs.
This program enhances physical and social development with a fun-filled, engaging curriculum. The children explore new themes through drama, music, sounds, singing, props, instruments, arts and crafts. Players explore imaginative and cultural themes through enchanted storytelling and creative movement. Recommended Ages 1-5.
Students embark on a journey through imagination and invention through acting, singing, dancing, theater games and costumes. Each class culminates in a collaborative “Play Of The Day.” Each student will shine in a non-competitive and inclusive environment which fosters creative self-expression, teamwork, confidence building, body awareness and social skills. Recommended Ages: 3.5-8.
Students experience singing, theater games, acting, and movement. The class is typically based on a chosen theme using songs from popular musicals or classic rock. An age-appropriate curriculum is designed for each group. All classes tap into each student’s natural storytelling ability while fostering teamwork, self-expression and confidence building. For all levels, in a non-competitive and joyful environment. Optional end of class open presentation. Recommended for all ages.
Make A Play. For actors, singers, dancers, musicians, composers, designers…anyone with a desire to be involved in the creative process. This collaborative project will ignite and engage each participant’s passion. Experience improv games, storytelling, scriptwriting, and acting techniques in this non-competitive and inspiring class which ends in an original showcase open house. Recommended Ages 8-16.
Actors explore Shakespeare’s classical works through script & character analysis while learning basic history of his life and times. The curriculum includes acting, movement, improvisation, theater games, scene study, speech & diction, projection, performance techniques, stage presence, stage direction, speech & diction, dialects, collaboration and team-building. Recommended for all ages.
Drama activities are incorporated into the class curriculum creating a fun and innovative way to learn. Theater can enhance concentration, imaginative thinking, finding one’s creative voice, brainstorming and team-building skills. We incorporate storytelling, acting, skits & scenes, movement, props, improvisation, theater games, performance, stage presence, brainstorming, collaboration, confidence building, and creative exploration.
Musical Theater provides the performer with the skills to find their voice. In this class, actors work with a theater professional in a safe, non-competitive environment – appropriate for all levels. The curriculum may include acting, singing, movement, choreography, theater games, improvisation, character exploration & development, scene study, speech & diction, collaboration, stage presence, stage direction, and performance techniques. Optional end of class presentation. Recommended for all ages.
